Dr. Kenneth Botwin is a graduate of Tulane University and the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. He completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Boston University Hospital in Massachusetts.
He has worked as a Physiatrist, Interventional Spine and Pain Physician at the Florida Spine Institute.
Dr. Botwin is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Board of Medical Specialties in Pain Management.
Dr Botwin is a Certified Physician Life Care Planner (CPLCP) thru the American Academy of Physician Life Care Planners and a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) thru the International Commission on Health Care Certification.
Dr. Botwin is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR),International Pain & Spine Interventional Society, American Society Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), Florida Society Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FSPMR), Florida Society of Interventional Physicians(FISIPP), and the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine(FAPM), International Commission on Health Care Certification, Academy of Physician Life Care Planners, and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
Dr. Botwin is the fellowship director for non-surgical fellows at Florida Spine Institute and the author of numerous texts, articles, and journals on spine care. He also served as Associate Editor for Pain Physician as well as a reviewer of the Archives of Physical Medical & Rehabilitation, and the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. His interest is interventional Physiatry in the use of use of minimally invasive procedures for diagnosis and treatment of pain and spinal disorders.
